Review: Vassarette: Fishnet stockings

These were bought online from a pantyhose clearance site for $2.00 and they are not really worth it. The top band is very thin and unless you are a professional weightlifter then these will not look good. The best thing that I can say about these is maybe you could cut the feet out and make gloves?

Review: Hanes: Silky Sheer black Thigh High with lace top

I bought these from Target for $5.00. They are true to their fit. They are silky and basic. The lace top has the glue and is slightly too tight. They are a true sheer. If you are pressed for time and need some stockings these will work but they would not be a first choice.

Review: Nice Touch(Sears): Black lycra sheer stockings

These are available at Sears for $3.50 or online for $1.40. The band at top has a cute detail that makes them less boring. The fit is perfect and they hold their shape for many washings. They are durable. I have gotten about 6 or 7 wears out of a pair. The sheen is good and they feel very soft. The color is actually a little darker than sheer. These are the number 1 pair of choice in this price point for a basic black stocking.

Review: Seven til Midnight: Sheer black pantyhose One size

I bought these on Skimpy Outfit for $3.39. They feel amazing and very silky. The color is a good sheer with consistency throughout the leg. The fit is one size and they do fit me but someone thinner would have a problem with them rolling down at the waist.

Review: Frederick’s of Hollywood: Black Lace top Tulle with back seam thigh high

I bought this on EBAY for $5.00 but it retails at $ 14.00 (but they are discontinued. They look great and the tiny mesh is reminiscent of fishnet with super sexy back seam. The lace band does have the sticky glue that I hate and the bank is wide. I am about 5’6 and think they would look better on a taller girl and someone that is shorter than me should probably avoid these.

Review: Leg Ave: Plus Size Basic Sheer Stocking

These were $1.82 from Skimpy Outfits. I bought the plus size to see if I would get a better fit and I didn't. I do know of a pair of basic black simple thigh highs for this price that are awesome and I will review them later. The discoloration and unevenness of the color is very poor but we know that about the Leg Ave. I thought maybe with a larger size they would fit better and then the color would be better. No. They will go into the drawer of unworn hosiery that is growing exponentially

Review: Sheer Thigh High Nylon Stocking with Contrast Lace Top

This pair was $3,62 from Skimpy Outfits. The lace top does not have the glue so that's a plus but other than that these just don't work. the lace is too tight with not give so they make the top of my legs look horrible. There was a hole in them straight out of the package and the discoloration made my legs look lumpy so even for this price I would not buy them again! I would rather have bare legs!

Review: Leg Ave : Industrial Fishnet Thigh High Nylon Stocking with Wide Elastic Top

I purchased these from Skimpy Outfits for $4.18. I don't normally like Leg Avenue for all the obvious reasons: ill fitting, poor quality and discoloration. These are Awesome! the fit is great and they are comfortable. They are the cheapest pair of fishnet thigh highs and they work very well. I was definitely surprised.

This just sent to me :)

Thank You for sending me this link to this site that discusses my favorite subject

some of the issues

I have been searching for the perfect pair of stockings and pantyhose for so long and a lot issues and problems have come up through the  years, The fit, the feel, the price and accessibility. The fit is currently my biggest struggle because I have lost a lot of weight recently and what used to fit before when I was skinny doesn't fit like it used too. The "feel" of a pair stockings usually depends on the price point but not always and with each washing that "new pair" feel will dissipate. The access ability has greatly improved over the years but that is part of the new problem as well and what I mean is now there are so many websites to chose from "how do you know that you are getting the best price" and for me this pantyhose odyssey have racks up a pretty penny.
I am not at a point in my life financially where I can just shop Wolford (my absolute favorite) exclusively and be done with it. I will expand my new love of all things Wolford at a later time. So, that brings me back to where I am now......the search.

Can tell me where to get this Garter?

Wolford yumminess

Day 1 part 2

The lovers of high quality stockings might be sceptical but hear me out. There is a pair of stockings that Sears carries and I have purchased and worn them A LOT. They are extremely durable, soft and they look great. They are a basic pairs of black stockings and they cost $1.75 :)
