Top Ten places to buy hosiery: Number 1

Here is the number one choice to buy hosiery. I will be posting the rest of the list throughout the week. This is a hard list to make because I have specific places for specific styles and price points.

1. Beverly Hills Hosiery:

This place is actually downtown Los Angeles and not in Beverly Hills. They mainly have "Leg Avenue" which is definitely not my favorite brand. They also have a large selection of other brands in that same price point. The main reason I love them is the incredibly large selection of styles. They also have a lot of hosiery accessories. I have gotten a "Rago" garter for 20 bucks! The have great sales and the man that owns it is very helpful. It almost like a thrift store of new hosiery. You have to dig and their store is overflowing. I haven't tried bargaining with the owner yet but I would bet he would work with me on prices :)

the standard is still the best look

The visual of a sheer stocking with a cuban heel, seams and a black band at the top is still my favorite look for stockings. I have searched for different styles and looks but I always come back to this standard. It is clean and super sexy. The question is which brand is the best!! so I am on the hunt!

Review: Wolford Cabaret

These were given to me for my birthday and they run about $58.00. They have a really nice detail and great fit. The only problem that I have with Wolford is that they discontinue styles! I realize that they have too! but it is so frustrating to find a style that makes my legs look great and then they discontinue! just like my favorite lipstick.

Review: H and M 60 denier Black tight

These were $5-8 dollars and suprisingly impressive. There is a sheen to them that is awseome. The fit is apropriate. They did tend to snag a bit but the price is good enough that its worth it. I mean, pantyhose snag unless we are discussing Wolfords :)

Review: Wolford Rebecca

These are a Wolfords "Rebecca" which are a fine nude micronet with small black dots. They run a bit small so be careful with sizing. There is very little give with these and they are definatly more delicate than most Wolfords.  They look and feel amzing

Review: Wolford Velvet De Luxe 50

These are some of the softest tights that I have ever worn. The fit is great and I would not recommend buying any Wolfords online. You should always go into the store to make sure that you get the best fit possible. Wolfords run true to size which can be confusing because so many hosiery makers do not do a good job of sizing ti fit. I usually wear a medium but in Wolfords I wear a small. These are $52.00 and worth every penny.
